A few things we want everyone at The Wilshire to know about how Vertical Neighbors works.
Independent from the HOA
Vertical Neighbors is a resident-organized social group. We are not affiliated with the Wilshire Condominium Association or its Board. We don't speak for the building. Building management and the HOA have their own channels for official communication.
Who runs this
The group is organized by a handful of residents who volunteer their time. There are no dues, no elected positions, and no formal membership. Anyone in the building is welcome at any event. If you'd like to help plan a gathering, reach out to one of the organizers.
RSVP privacy
When you RSVP to an event, we keep your name and unit number so organizers can plan. We keep RSVP records indefinitely so we can look back at attendance over time. You can ask an organizer to remove your name at any time. We don't share RSVP lists outside the group of organizers.
How decisions get made
Event ideas come from residents. If something needs a decision (a bigger event, a shared cost, a policy question), organizers talk it through and make a call together. We try to be responsive to what residents actually want. If something doesn't work for you, tell us — we'd rather adjust than press on.
